What's new this year?

-Photo album books! I will design you an album with the photos from your session so you can order it straight from the album store!

-This year, we have two location options! I will have my bright white studio space in Lancaster, Pennsylvania prepared (see the gallery at the bottom of the page for example sessions!!!) and decorated with lit Christmas trees, so if it's awful outside for an outdoor session, we have a backup location automatically built in! It's free to you, and you can book your appointment time with confidence, knowing that if it's pretty outside, we'll shoot in the beautiful Christmas tree farm. But if it's nasty and you're worried about catching a cold, my studio will be gorgeously set up and filled with Christmas cheer!

-Dogs! They are welcome at the tree farm! Dogs are not allowed in the studio space so if you want your furry family member in your Christmas photos, be sure to sign up for a slot at the Christmas Tree Farm!

-Christmas cards! We will be setting you up to order your Christmas cards directly to your door! That's not all though, we'll be designing custom hard copy photo album books, and printed products to hang on the wall.

-A store! We will share your gallery through a server that allows you to order ornaments, metal wall prints, vintage glass boxes with prints, and more! All our printed items are professionally sourced from USA companies. Wall prints and canvases will last 50+ years with proper care and photo albums will last 150+ years with proper care so these are heirloom products.

Be the first to find out about new mini session dates when they roll out!

Here at Fern & Fountain, we want to eliminate the "awkward" factor from your family photos. Stage fright is real, and we have systems to intentionally eliminate it from your photo sessions. We strategically engage children and adults to help their authentic personality come out and shine through the photos because at the end of the day, year, decade... you want to look back at these photos and remember how you felt. Family photo sessions should be a family adventure and a nostalgic Christmas joy for you and your loved ones.

We like to hang out with our families, coach you so you look your best, but engage you as human beings- not subjects. We'll joke with you, chat about real life with you, make you feel comfortable and important as a human being. As we work with you, we'll help set you at ease and bring out your personality so your photos aren't just pretty... we want your photos to be memories of what you felt, where you were, the year that 2020 was for you. These photos are landmarks in your life and that's a serious honor.

This year, we're hanging your photos on your wall, and we're putting them in photo books so you can gift them or look through them all year. Don't keep your most special memories in digital form. Put them on paper and page through them.
