Best East Coast Historic Wedding Venues | Brooklyn, Philadelphia, New York,

Most couples instinctively know the first step for wedding planning is finding a venue. As a wedding photographer based along the East Coast, I've seen my fair share of wedding venues, and I'd love to share a favorite of mine today! I want to share Cairnwood Estates. It's about an hour from Philadelphia and about three hours from Brooklyn and it's stunning. The same architect, Frederick Law Olmsted Senior who designed Central Park and Grand Central Station designed the Grand hall and the gardens of of Cairnwood.

It was raining this day, which was a special treat! I loved the hazy light this evening.

This staircase is probably the most famous view of Cairnwood.

It's a truly stunning venue, don't you think? It's technically a reception venue, as the venue no longer allows a wedding ceremony to take place, but they are steadily booked even so. There are so many beautiful places for amazing photography, and it's a very serene place to be. The Cairnwood wedding cost doesn't include a ceremony site, but there are several ceremony sites within a few minutes of the estates, so it's still a wonderful place to get married!
